A wide range of testing is available
We offer standard pathology testing and a variety of functional test referrals. Referrals are available for Laverty pathology, QML pathology, NSW Health Pathology and Nutripath.
Tests we offer include but are not limited to:
- Full blood count, kidney and liver function
- Blood sugar, cholesterol, inflammatory markers
- Hormones (sex, stress and thyroid)
- Autoimmune antibodies
- Stool testing for infections and parasites, inflammatory bowel markers and microbiome diversity
- Nutrition profiles such as iron studies, zinc, folate, B12 and Vitamin D
*Please note that test referrals from Highlands Naturopathy are not covered on Medicare and that an out of pocket fee will be incurred. This is to be paid directly to the pathology lab and will be discussed during your appointment.
Blood tests can be undertaken at the local Glen Innes Hospital Pathology Collection Center or at any Laverty or QML Pathology Collection Center.
*Referrals can be supplied during consultation with your Naturopath who will perform a holistic health assessment and extensive case history analysis.
