Clinic Policy
Highlands Naturopathy requires that you consult your GP for any acute infectious illness. We ask that you do not present in person to our clinic if you are infectious and encourage you to select the Telehealth option when booking online.
We can prescribe natural medicines to assist your immune system in response to infectious illness, and provide an E-script for you to conveniently log in and purchase your prescription. Prescriptions must be obtained with a naturopathy consultation where your practitioner will assess your individual health case and potential for drug and herb or nutrient interaction.
Please select Telehealth if you are experiencing signs or symptoms of infectious illness such as a rash, fever, cough, runny nose, or sore throat, or if you have tested positive for an infectious illness.

- Provision of a Telehealth service (both telephone and skype video consultations are available).
- Appropriate hand washing and sanitisation including access to hand sanitiser in the clinic (we encourage you to use this when you visit our clinic room).
- Regular and thorough cleaning of all hard surfaces between appointments.
- Use of appropriate PPE such as gloves and masks where indicated.
- Availability of masks for those wishing to use (not mandatory), this may be for people with suppressed immune systems during active respiratory virus months through Winter.
